The Titanic was called the ship that could not sink. More than 2200 looked forward as the first voyage of the Titanic with great excitement.
The Titanic hit iceberg. The ship had been split open and was sinking. Captain Smith was called to the bridge as the truth situation became clear. In less than two hours the Titanic would be underwater.
At 2:10 a.m. The Titanic had sunk. The brave wireless operators tapped on their signals for help to other boats. The tireless operators had managed to get a message through to the Carpathia, another passenger liner, 58 miles away across the hazardous waters.
